On February 3, 2026, FSC attorneys Alexander Yow and Dave Gunter achieved denial of institution of three Inter Partes review Petitions filed by Generac Power Systems, Inc. (“Generac”) on behalf of their Client PSLC LLC (“PSLC”). See IPR Nos. 2026-00022-24.
PSLC brought suit, currently pending in the District Court for the Eastern District of Wisconsin, against Generac for patent infringement of three patents authored by prolific serial inventor, Mr. Carl Cooper. Mr. Cooper is a named inventor on dozens of United States patents and has made profound contributions to, amongst other areas, the power source load management space including through his patents asserted against Generac. FSC is proud to work alongside inventors whose creativity drives progress, and whose ideas deserve the protection provided by our patent system as underscored by the PTAB’s continuing trend in denying requests for inter partes review.
